...and make sure you spell that right, put Kristiansand in the satnav and you end up 900km in wrong direction!
An awesome, this time the right word, drive along the Rauma valley,very narrow with a flat lush bottom and towering steep rock sides. Opens out to the Langfjorden and the ferry crossing it.
Had come this way especially to dtive the Atlantic Way... an iconic road billed as the "world’s most beautiful drive," it hops over the ocean using eight twisting bridges to connect the islands of Averøy with the mainland. Found it boring.... a big let down.
Arrived in Kristiansund early enough to have a walk around town and found the Sundbaten ...a free ferry that travels to all four islands that make up Kristiansund.
And while on the ferry the Hurtigruten MV Kong Harald arrived..
